As good as they come
By (I am an Owner)Read MoreI was a cruiser motorcycle fan for most of my life. In 2009 I got my first Social Security retirement check... and used to purchase and pay for my first motorcycle - ever. At that same moment (62)I became one of the oldest beginners at cycling. My 2009 Yamaha Custom 1100 provides me with enough ... power to stay on the road with anyone else. It is comfortable, predictable and very eye pleasing. I have made some cosmetic changes during the last 5 years, but it's still as rewarding as the first day.

Nice Ride!
By (I am an Owner)Read MoreI bought the 1100 and 650 in Feb 09, one for me one for the wife. After 2 months, I convinced my wife to test ride the 1100 and she loves it. It is solid, hugs the ground, low CG and doesn't weigh much more than the 650. It has great response and pleanty of power for a mid-level rider. Now my wife ... owns it and I trade in the 650 for the 1900 Raider. Now that's a bike!
