Stratoliner S
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 06, 2015I have ben riding for 40 years and have owned over 15 bikes. The Stratoliner S is by far the best riding machine I have ever ridden. The bike is very comfortable to ride and the power is awesome. Harley Davidson move over, Yamaha's Stratoliner is just as good at half the price.

Best Ever
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 20, 2011After riding only Honda's for nearly 40 years, I bought a 2008 Stratoliner and it is the best bike I've ever owned. Also, I don't know where the MPG comes from but I consistantly get 50 MPG whether on flat land or in the mountains.

Best of The Best
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 01, 2010I've been riding since the earley 70's and I've never owned a bike that I enjoy as much as this one. I have been into sport bikes of late but decided to get something less hyper. Wow! I am amazed at how well the 19 handles and runs! I like to ride it naked with even the saddlebag bracket and rear ... seat off and it feels so much lighter and agile! It even sattisfies the sport biker in me! Amazing for a cruiser. Anyway , it's a great bike.

One classy smooth machine
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 28, 2009I never really thought about buying a Stratoliner till my wife pointed it out to me in a showroom and asked the dealer if I could take it out for a spin. Wow, I was really impressed with the power and smoothness of this bike. So much so that I read up on it a little and talked to a few guys about ... it. I went back the next week to look it over again, and the week after that visit I bought myself one. It's a very stylish machine that also has the look that I like in a cruiser. I'm not into alot of fiberglass wind fairings and luggage racks. I want my bike to look like a bike and the stratoliner fits that bill perfectly. It has just about all I need on it, but I added a light bar and highway bar, and trim to protect the bags, and a rear luggage rack. The last thing was a throttlemeiter and now I'm all set to hit the road and I know that my stratoliner will take be wherever I want to go. It's a Great Bike!!

Can't seem to wipe the grin off my face!
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 11, 2009Been riding bikes for 35 years and this is by far the nicest cruiser I've ever ridden much less owned... The HP and torque are a pleasure at any speed. The ride comfort is superb although the handle bar locaction is a little wide and a little far foward for my 5'10" frame. (The aftermarket seat ... helped emmensely.)
Mechanically, the bike is very smooth and thus far very reliable. The engine noise is a little loud but then again those are very large valves and rockers slapping around in there. The stock exhaust has a beautiful note. It seems fairly quiet at idle, but if you must hear it, it seems to speak up.
My biggest beef thus far has to do with maintenance. There are three bolts that must be removed to drain the oil and they are terribly hard to reach (very close to the frame and ground)and all require crush washers (another set of parts to keep on hand). The transfer case lube needs to be replaced every 12-15K miles and it too is quite a challenge to drain and re-fill. The manual says to remove the exhaust, but others have found a way to carefully drain and refill via the oil level check bolt... Quite the pain and not designed for maintainability!
But if you can put asside the maintainability issues, this is one fun cruiser with great looks more than enough HP and just down-right fun to ride!

Best Cruiser Hands Down
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 14, 2009The Stratoliner S is the best cruiser by far when you compare performance, amenities and price. If you are looking for a bike with a fresh distinctive look like no other, the neo-Art Deco styling will appeal to you. This is a very comfortable bike with plenty of power and lots of chrome.

Great Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 16, 2008If you want a big bike this is the bike. Lots of power and because of size floats along the road.
Built for the big rider but nimble and light enough for everyone to enjoy.
