A Great Ride
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 17, 2010My wife and I love this bike... It handles the road like no other and has enough HP to get you where you wanna go and then some... It offers alot of room for the rear passenger and the fuel injection was a superb addition to this ride...

Yamaha Road Star Silverado 1700
By (I am a Writer) on Dec 10, 2008I bought this bike on 9-27-08. I have about 3,000 ,miles on it now and I love this bike. It is a great road bike and after a week or two the seats mold to your body and the ride is even better. It runs like a fine clock and very litte viberation while riding. The 1700cc engine has all the power you ... can use and responds very well at any highway speed wheather I am by my self our my lovely wife is with me. We plan to travel in the spring with this bike and I am really looking forward to that.
I think Yamaha should have emergency flashers on this bike when built if they really care about those who buy them and wrote to them concerning this. The bike has good chrome on it and came with the windshield and bags and a very good paint job on it. I have added passing lamps and visors to the light and turn signals and I just ordered lower wind deflectors and a luggage carrier for the back. I consider this bike to be of the handling and balanced bikes I have owned, I have had a Harley 1200cc sportster 1965 model a Harley Supergide Amf 1975 model and a Suzuki intruder 2000 model 1500cc. They don't compare to the quality of this bike, and none were as balanced as this bike is. You can lean and drag the foot rest off this bike, (if you want) it handles so well. Tried to upload pictures but they I couldn't get it done to object error.
