Great cruiser for a short-legged person! (like me, a girl!)
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 18, 2009I have about 15 years cumulative riding experience with dual-sports and street bikes, and this bike is light enough to give me a 'feel' for the nimble handling of the dual sport coupled with the substantial stability of a cruiser.
This sucker can keep up no problem with the larger cruisers ... and does hills and curves really well. To laymen, it also looks alot bigger than it really is.
One caveat-the dealership told me that that 75 MPH was pretty much the limit and that 80+ MPH was pushing redline with this bike. Not having a tach, I don't know but I DO feel a bit of an uncomfortable vibration when I hit 82-85 MPH.

Entry Level Cruiser
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 22, 2009Great overall value. This should be your first cruiser if you are a beginner. Everything about the Vstar spesks quality. One coplaint: if you are over 6 ft tall, the foot controls need to be moved forward. There are aftermarket parts to do this. I rate this bike a 10 for what it is.
