  • Fantastic motorcycle
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 12, 2012

I have owned a 2007 Yamaha Roadstar Midnight Star for the past 3 years and found the bike to be fantastic.

I have put on over 15,000 miles with two long road trips and the bike performed flawlessly.

The engine is powerfull and the ride quite comfortable.

    This ...

Would I buy a Yamaha (metric) cruiser again? In a heartbeat !

    By  (I am a Writer) on Jun 13, 2011

While out on a ride (June 12,2011) on a 2007 Road Star Midnight Star owned by my boyfriend who owns the bike the weld holding the bracket for the light bar broke. All that was holding the bar off of the fender was the wires. If the wires had broke I would not be here today.

    The dealer told ...

Yamaha does not stand by there product! and will not replace the part. Check your welds!

  • Great Ride
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 07, 2011

This bike is fantastic! It is big enough to take on the long haul, and easy to tool around the city on. Took mine on a 3 1/2 hour trip from Ft. Lauderdale Fl to Key West Fl, when we stopped there was no fatuge or numbness as with other rides. Also handles great at 100 + mph.
