  • My Experience
By  (I am an Owner) on Jul 25, 2016

Unfortunately, I am a victim of odometer fraud. This limits my ability to really give the V Star credit for the great bike it is. Odometer reads 16,xxx and did a VIN check AFTER I purchased it to find out it has 46,xxx miles on it. I put on 800 miles personally. Paid $2,400 and have about $1,200 ...

1.) Brake pads with full synthetic brake fluid.

    2.) New spark plugs

    3.) Fuel filter

    4.) New clutch

    5.) New shifter pedal

    6.) K&N filter

    7.) Vance and Hines pipes

    8.) Full synthetic oil

    9.) New grips

10.) Brand new drum shoes and springs

11.) Brand new final gear assembly ($550)

Basically, I'm the final owner of this bike as it can not be sold knowing this information. I love the bike and the power it has for a 650 hence the labor of love and will hope for another 46,000 miles out of it.

Even as big as it is, I rarely have to even put my feet down when it is almost at a complete stop. It is smooth. I have ...

    Thanks Yamaha!!
