Great until you have to replace the drive belt... $$$$

At about 3,000 miles, I got a rock thru the drive belt.

$540 for the belt plus another $300 for labor....

$840 to replace a belt? You've got to be kidding me. I will NEVER own another belt drive again.

I have ridden this bike for almost 4 years and still enjoy it. It handles great and I have never had a problem with it. I ride it about 7000 to 8000 miles a year. The styling is not for everyone. Which only serves to make it more appealing. Handling that belies its size and an engine that pulls like a freight train, Yamaha stepped away from the pack on this one!
