Pleasantly Surprised
By (I am an Enthusiast) on Apr 10, 2015After years of riding I had decided it was time to treat myself to something more than a basic bagger. I decided to go for the bike of my dreams. It was like one of those moments with a shining light from heaven and a chorus of angles singing when I first saw it. A 2014 Victory Cross Country Tour ... 15th Anniversary Edition. With the stunning paint scheme and all that chrome, it was certainly a sight to behold. I know I spent way too much money for it, but it is a very unique bike. Way more options than I need, but it is cool having them. This bike handles like a dream and corners better than any bike I had ridden previously. With all the weight you would expect it to be a beast at slow speeds, but it has a low center of gravity that allows for easy maneuvering in tight places. If I had anything negative to say about it, it would be the excessive heat from the engine. It seems to gather and park itself right under my legs and butt, which makes for an uncomfortable ride at times. Would I do it all over again? Yes, I love the bike and plan on many years of riding pleasure.
