NO BETTER TOURING BIKE OUT THERE
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 18, 2012I retired from the Baltimore City Police Department in October 2010. I told myself, after checking out my mechanic's 2008 Vision Tour, that I'd get one for myself as a retirement present. I was told that if I planned on test riding one I may as well take my checkbook. He was right. The bike, now ... named Raven, handled better than the MUCH smaller Yamaha V-Star 1100 I was riding. The balance is excellent. Power beyond belief. And with all the bells and whistles this bike comes with, you can't go wrong choosing it. My ONLY dislike is the weak eadio antenna, but, Victory more than made up for that with the connection for an iPod, which you can control without removing your grip from the handlebars. My bike also came with ABS, which I tested on a wet pavement. She stayed upright, in line and came to a stop with plenty of distance between me and the car in front of me.Plenty of stretch out room for those long rides and with the heated grips and seats, the Vision is a bike that can be ridden all year. GREAT JOB VICTORY. The picture below is of the Mayor of Baltimore City posing with my Raven.
