Vey Happy Vespa Owner
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 05, 2012I've had my GTV 300 for three weeks and I couldn't ask for a better two wheel experience. I was torn between purchasing a motorcycle or a scooter. I took the MSF class and did well, but as a new rider was not totally comfortable riding around town and getting used to shifting, keeping track of traffic ... and trying to relax. the Vespa is super easy to ride, keeps up with traffic (very easy to go too fast!) and with the rear case has plenty of space to carry my laptop and backpack. The only disappointment i've experienced is motorcyclist ignoring my waves.

We bought two.
By (I am an Owner) on May 24, 2012Ok so here it goes. LWe purchased a A pair of gtv 300's from Vespa in SoHo, NYC. These models go quickly , hence the 5 hour drive from our home in New Hampshire.
I am a big guy, 6 ft 250 lbs. I was worried about looking like a gorilla on a tricycle, and I was worried about, ... the bike having enough power to haul my ass around.
I have to say that I love the bike(s) . The 300 cc engine is very powerful and is great on even the steep hills in the mountainous region where we live. The stability , handling , cornering, are all superb. The style of the bike is classic and unmistakably VESPA. There is ample storage and the racks come in very handy .
I ride mine almost every day. farmers market, country roads, shopping trips. This is a versatile, stylish, wonderful machine.
