So far so good...
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 31, 2012Bought mine in October. Has 8500 KM (5300 miles) and only problem has been a brake light switch, that was made in the USA. $8.00 to replace it. Have been riding sidecars over 15 years. Own 3 of them currently. This is the best handling sidecar I have ever ridden! Handles as well as the fancy high ... dollar stuff. Linked (quite literally with linkages) mechanical drum sidecar/rear brake work amazingly well, considering. Front 4 pot Brembo makes up for he considering part. Mine has a wee bit higher gearing than most (3.91:1) so can cruise comfortably ay 70, but it is only a 750cc flat twin, so hills and head winds bring you down to 65. Have no qualms about hopping on her and actually going somewhere, anywhere on her, just have to remember to take your time and enjoy the ride as that is what this rig is all about. Besides some farkles, did replace the larger more comfy than most Ural seat with a HD Cop seat that is more to the liking of my posterior. Considering this rig cost less than a Road King, is actually one of th best deals in motorcycling. Mt worst fear is that everyone else will find out how good they are and they'll get HD expensive. Have had no warranty issues (dealt with brake light switch myself) but dealer network is good and parts availability is genrally as good as the big 3's. Could not load photos.
