  • Lots of fun for the money
By  (I am an Owner) on Feb 12, 2009

I have other two wheel motorcycles but my wife has a difficult time getting on and off those bikes. I purchased a 2008 Patrol so she can ride in the sidecar. We both love the bike, they are a lot of fun and easy to maintain. The only downside to them is they are a little touchy in hot weather so ...

You might get a slight oil leak from time to time but nothing bad. Parts are readily available. 95% of the service you can do yourself even if you are not a mechanic. This thing is 1940's technology but updated brakes and electrical make it a reliable machine.

Bottom line is this is fun for the family and can go anywhere you point it.

BUT it takes time to learn how to drive a sidecar rig it is NOT like a two wheeler but you pick it up fast.
