2008 Ural Patrol 750

I have other two wheel motorcycles but my wife has a difficult time getting on and off those bikes. I purchased a 2008 Patrol so she can ride in the sidecar. We both love the bike, they are a lot of fun and easy to maintain. The only downside to them is they are a little touchy in hot weather so ... you have to play with the idle adjustment a lot. The other thing is you can ride it on a freeway BUT you are going at the minimum freeway speed limit. So you get some dirty looks. Lots of storage space, great tool kit. Best of all you can ride it year round. I had mine out in the snow, deep snow and the one time I got stuck, just engaged the sidecar wheel and I was on the road again. Bike is great on the trails or the open road.

You might get a slight oil leak from time to time but nothing bad. Parts are readily available. 95% of the service you can do yourself even if you are not a mechanic. This thing is 1940's technology but updated brakes and electrical make it a reliable machine.

Bottom line is this is fun for the family and can go anywhere you point it.

BUT it takes time to learn how to drive a sidecar rig it is NOT like a two wheeler but you pick it up fast.
