Speed is indeed quite awesome, but I found it kinda squirly at speed

Will writes of 80MPH and 6000 RPM, and I can confirm that indeed the 205i can do just that. It was still winding up when I backed out. The small wheels make major bumps out of small road seams, and to my mind made me feel foolish taking it that fast. A friend explaide the gyroscopic effect of lar...ger cycle wheels as a major stability factor.

But my issue continues to be with the lousy support of UM on issues regarding maintenance and warranty. It should not take you a year to get an operators manual, or the instrument cluster replaced, nor 10 months to get a seat replaced. This throws away that first years total warranty-a warranty not worth the paper it is written on if the importer won't send parts. Read Full Review

Awesome Scooter !

I got my UM xpeed 250i right before Christmas 2008...I've already put over 1200 miles on it & no problems. The acceleration is very good ...Expressway speeds...no problem . I've had it up to 80mph...pulling 6000rpm's . It's very stable , even when passing Big rigs !

I have no doubt that It will... do all of the 110mph , thats on the speedometer.Great warranty ! I would highly recommend this scooter to anyone wanting value , & dependability ! Oh , & by the way , I'm 6'4" tall 265lbs. & at last check I was getting 78mpg. Read Full Review
