  • awsome ride
By  (I am an Owner) on Jan 12, 2011

this bike handles smoothly, especially in turns... sticks tight and close with out hesitation or balance issues. friendly on and off the highway, but like with any crotch-rocket don't make the mistake of running onto gravel road.

it is also a given that sportbikes aren't the best for long ...

triumph makes a quality bike, even though i had a slight electrical issue with mine... triumph worked with me and corrected the issue. there was no design flaw; my bike just happened to have a slight problem and since triumph fixed it, no probo's...

    awsome bike

  • A great head turner
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 05, 2010

After owning a '02 ZX6R then '05 ZX10R, I chose this bike. It wasn't really my choice because the latter got totalled after I got t-boned from a stop sign runner. With the insurance check, I went into the dealer expecting an '09 6R, but came out w/ the D675 (better deal). I was skeptical at first, ...

  • Triumph Daytona 675 2009
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 26, 2009

I recently bought the 2009 model Daytona Triumph. I have now been riding it for approximately 2 months and must say it is an exceptional bike and one of the best I have riden in my 25 plus years of riding. I will say that i am also and never have been a fair weather rider or weekend rider. Bikes ...

For any one wanting a bike unlike most others around this cc range on the road then this is the one.

The asthetics of the bike are great and you are guaranteed to get many people turning their heads when you pull up in traffic or pass by pedestrians. It also helps if you have a custom exhaust as the sound is unique and it has a beautiful tone to it. Many pictures on teh net or Daytona site just do not do it good as it looks far more impressive. (The tornado red just looks great)

The bike is exceptionally agile and with excelleration in all gears being clean and responsive. It is hard to specify actually how great this bike is and many other reviews sum it up nicely.

The daytona does have a more agressive riding position and it at times can cause sore wrists but this all comes down to learning to relax and grip more with the knees. The ride hide for most people will be perfect but for some people it may be a bit tall. I am unfortunately unable to put both feet flat to the ground.

Instrumentation is great and has everything from litres per 100km, average speed as well as a handy and easy to use lap timer. 4 selections of gear change lights adds to it but it does not have a fuel gauge which is slightly dissapointing.

One grope I do have is the cabling inside the fairing which is poorly thought out and quite messy. There are many times when turning and beginning to straighten up you get that a noise of a cable getting slightly caught and flicking lose. In the beginning tend to get caught out by it and wonder what it is but as time goes by you get used to it.

There is so much more I could write but the best bet is to read the professionals reviews.

With the 100 plus modifications this years model has had from the Nissin brakes to slight light, blinker and fairing chnages just makes it better.

Factory tyres are great and at the only addition I had done was an Arrow exhuast, air filter and new mappin which just makes it sound better. (Especially with the DB killler out)

Overall it is a bike that you WILL NOT be disapointed with as I have been with some bikes I have riden or bought. I have not looked back once and wished or wiched I had bought something else.

It looks good, sounds exeptional and rides great.

Not the best review but gets the point across.
