I bought my ST on spec ... the numbers are great.

First the good ... Very confortable for long rides not so much for short, which is OK. Big tank makes touring much better (close to 400k on a relaxing day) and the hard bags are a good size (liners cut the space but are VERY handy). ...

The bad ... very clunky gearbox ... thought it might get smoother over the break in but no such luck yet. Odd weight distribution makes for a very wiggly ass if you are a light rider like myself. Could be a rubber issue as well but if you feel like throwing it around a bit know your weight distribution (i.e. loading etc.).

Wants to look like a sport (vs tourer) and has spec like a sport but is no sport ...

A couple of tweaks away from sport wannabe and it could be the perfect tourer (as opposed to the 600+ lb panel rockets)

It is very stable even at high speeds going down the highway or a slow trought down the driveway. The bags are plenty big for a 4-5 ...
