Beautiful Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 30, 2015This is my first bike ever and I love it, it runs great (when its running) and it looks good.
My only issue is the problems that I have had out of it. First thing was having the starting gears rebuilt for a cool $800, then a new stator for $100, then a new voltage regulator for $100 and now ... I am hard wiring the stator to the regulator because it melted the plugs together.
Other than that, I absolutely love the bike and am chalking it all up to the 1% of bad bikes that are made. I got one of them.
When/if I trade up, it will be for a Triumph or Ducati.

Adult sport bike with bags.
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 24, 2014I bought mine in showroom condition and this bike is a rocket ship in disguise. You can cruise around town and ride conservatively, but this beast begs to be opened up on fast roads. The engine is magnificent, one of the best I have ever ridden. No buzzy Oriental performance where you must rev it ... up to 10,000+ rpm to get some torque. This is a locomotive from 3000 rpm in any gear. A MAJOR complaint is the hot air coming off the engine will bake any riders legs. I find this odd, because a bike of this caliber should have addressed that problem. The three bags are ingenious in design and snap on/off the bike and allow you to carry them as luggage. How cool is that! No more buying inner liner bags to haul your laundry into the motel room, just detach the bags and take them with you. Great security feature too. Your cargo will always be in your hands, not left on the bike. The gunfighter seat locks you into a fixed position and that is bad. You need some flexibility to move around and stretch during long rides. A Corbin seat may help there. The sound is too wimpy like most stock bikes and an aftermarket pipe will let out more flow and sound.
