Happy Burgman Rider
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 08, 2015I am a new rider so I don;t have a lot of experience with motorcycles at all. I previously had a 50 cc Chinese scooter for about 7 months prior to purchasing my 2014 Suzuki Burgman AN400ZA. I knew I need more power for my commute, as there are hills and bridges for me to cross. It took me a while ... to figure out what I really wanted (I kept gong back and forth between motorcycle and motor scooter) and in the end, the Suzuki Burgman won me over. In order to not prejudice myself over other makes / models, I never test rode anything else. I bought this bike new from a Suzuki dealer and rode it for the first time when I took it home. I was actually very pleasantly surprised once I started driving it how comfortable it felt to me, like it had been my "forever" bike. It has a very comfortable saddle and it handles like a dream. I have had it up to 140 kph in a bit of a windy situation and it still stayed true to the road. No problems with power on this bike, it has lots of get up and go when needed. Just had the first service done and they said it was in great shape. I have added some bags to the bike for extra storage, especially the GIVI XS318 Tunnel Bag. I plan on doing a few mods to the bike (ground effects lighting, new GIVI windshield) but for the most part I am very happy with this bike. I do get a lot of attention from others as most don't realize it's a scooter ... that is, until I tell them. I felt that the 400 would be a good jumping off spot for me and it has been a great ride so far. Not having done any long distances yet, but I am sure that when I do, this bike will get me where I want to go very comfortably and efficiently.

just right
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 19, 2015I,ve owned 10 motor scooter,s since 2008. This is the best all around one I,ve owned, as far as one person goes. The givi windshield make air control perfect. Ride is great, handle,s great, and mileage is between 66 and 69. All the things I like, I would have to say the engine is the best thing this ... little thing.offers. Only one thing it does not do well is two up riding.
