  • Great bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 07, 2012

Best gas mileage of the 400cc touring scooters. Best storage (62 liters). Extremely comfortable. Excellent wind screen and overall wind protection. Fine, zippy performance: Handles very well, Cruises easily at 65-70 mph. Good options include heated grips and hand protectors.

By  (I am an Owner) on May 25, 2012

I can only say that the Burgman is one great bike. I have had mine now for 2 year's and I just love it. It is great on gas and on the road it is just great. I drive almost 16miles to an from work each day Monday-Friday. And that is what I use. I own a fullsize pickup and I only use it when the weather ...

  • My 2009 Burgman 400 ABS
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 27, 2010

Hello. I have a new Burgman 400 2009. 300Km left for the braking period. I love how the scooter handle well in curves and over all, good suspension, well made BUT! Poor acceleration when stop and go, poor acceleration at Cruising speed. I bought that scooter because my friend has a 2006 one and his ...

  • I have what I think is a problem, Dealer unable to fix.
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 14, 2010

I bought it in September and after the 500 mile fluid changes there was a noticable issur between 3200-3800 RPM's A very hard bucking like bad fuel but before and after it runs like a scalded dog. My dealer has made many attempts to stop it and for about 500 miles after they work on it the issue ...

  • Burgman K8 400
By  (I am an Owner) on Dec 30, 2009

I have a 2008 model Burgman 400. It worked perfectly well until November 09 when it was 5 months old. At this point (1800 miles on the clock), it started to Judder at low speeds.

The problem is that Suzuki decided to fit different clutches to the 2008 models. These clutches are too ...

It does have one other fault. It has a lousy turning circle, and is really tricky to get round tight turns.

  • Burgman 400
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 30, 2009

I owned a 400 then moved to the Kymco Xciting (500cc). I missed the lightness and manoeverability of the 400 and have returned to it.

My disapointment is total; this is not the Burgman I had ten years ago. The throttle needs to be turned 3cm before anything happens and at slow speeds it is ...

  • Bergman 400
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 17, 2009

I love my Bergman 400. I recommend this bike for the person who wants the max for the money. The bike handles well on the streets and highway. If you are (were) a beginner like myself; this is the perfect bike. Although the bike is a lightweight; the Bergman is no joke-just try picking up a 475lb ...

By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 16, 2009

I use the scooter to do a 40-50 mile round trip to work on a daily basis in London. This scooter is just the job. Public transport here is very expensive and parking is not a problem on two wheels. I have only one slight issue in that the bike judders a bit at around 4000 revs at times. MPG whise ...

  • Real touring scooter
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 22, 2009

Being the proud owner of burgman 400 (Blue). I can only say good things about it. Here in Portugal we call it a Maxi scooter not a touring scooter. Anyway it's an amazing scooter from stand still to road or city driving. In the past 3 weeks I've done a few trips 900km on the first, 700km on the second. ...

The best points are, confort, economy, very easy to drive, decent power for take off, stability, and aerodynamic protection, last but not the least, an amazing cargo capacity. I've bought a top case, but to tell the truth never needed it. 'cause the lugage compartments are huge for a 2 wheels vehicle. Engine is also amazing for a mono 400. The riding position can go from a normal siting position to a low ride wich is great for highway.

In the city a very good take off speed and low center of gravity, contribute to a nice scooter and very economic.

Sorry for my bad english. But You folks can get the idea.
