		Having changed from my SV1000S earlier this year as I needed a more tour friendly bike. I was not sure what tO change too. Spending some time to look at what other models where available. As a lover of the big V I decided on the V-strom 1000. I have to say that I have found no faults so far. Its not<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;"> perfect by any means but at the price it is seriously good value for money. It truelly is a mile muncher, getting in excess of 200 miles on a tank of fuel. For both rider and pillion its comfortable. At 5'8&quot; i'm slighlty on the short side as this is one tall bike. But once the suspension has been adjusted, panniers loaded and pillion on the bike the problems disappear. A lower seat is available as are some risers that adjust the ride height. I would recommend this bike to anyone that likes to tour twos up.   </span>
