    Ive been on bikes all my life had a 2004 Ducati 906 monster was looking at sv but brought the most over rated expensive bije had nothing but trouble with it so sold it and got the 2005 sv1000 now thats a bike heaps of toque alot better to ride heaps of power when you need it i love it only thing ...

    Fantastic all around bike. Commute daily with it. Ride 2-up often. Great comfy bike with a spirited torqy engine. Handles extremely well, and excellerates awesome too!

    I recently purchased my 05 SV1000s in March; had an 03 SV650S for three years.

    It is the most fun riding motorcycle. It is fast and yet smooth at the same time. I can ride it all day everyday.

    I'm told its an acquired taste? People don't know what they're missing and the price tag ...

    I bought it new in 2005 with the thought that my '96 Intruder 1400 would need to be rebuilt since it was burning quite a bit of oil. Living in So Cal, I couldn't face traffic if not on a bike.
