I bought it new in 2005 with the thought that my '96 Intruder 1400 would need to be rebuilt since it was burning quite a bit of oil. Living in So Cal, I couldn't face traffic if not on a bike. I recently purchased my 05 SV1000s in March; had an 03 SV650S for three years.

It is the most fun riding motorcycle. It is fast and yet smooth at the same time. I can ride it all day everyday.

I bought my sv brand new in the start of 2005, i actualy odered the 04 model to get it cheaper? but it turned out to be an 05 model by mistake! i said nothing and only paid 12,000 cash, bargain! and got a heap of new gear to wear real cheap too. i've been riding for about 35 years now and consider ...
