Best first bike ever!!!
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 17, 2013why havent i bought a bike yearsss ago haha lol great time, its got tons of juice!!! Bike has a ton of good features especially the mode setting. ive used all three settings before but i always keep it in A haha!! although i dont use it it would be great for a beginner to start slow, get used to ... the bike, and work your way up, also is good for ur gas if your conserving.
only thing i dont like about mine is iv had a bad tank slapper the one day (speed wobble) only in first gear full throttle high rpm aroud 15 grand of something so the steering damper on the bike needs to be stiffer but that can be fixed BUY A GSXR

Forget the haters
By (I am an Owner) on May 11, 2012Best bike you will ever ride, hands down. Been riding for over 30 years and they can't keep up at the track, this bike leans it's self through the twisties. Best sprocket set up for track will be -1 +3. Added a pcIII and m4 exhaust and I take out r1's on the straights. almost 20k miles ans still ... going strong with just oil changes.

Simply Beautiful
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 27, 2012Hi, I'm an owner of an 08 gsxr 600 and I love it!
I just wanted to mention to people that are shopping that this bike has integrated rear turn signals (inside the fairing) IT IS AWESOME because most bikes come with an ugly shovel with ugly turn signals in the rear that most people replace; ... It also has integrated turn signals in the front, however, they are in the mirrors, which dont get me wrong look great, but i took em off and put a bar end mirror (bike looks even sexier now).
AlsO! It comes with a steering dumper! It is very useful to have! (installation of one can be quite expensive)
I recommend this bike! Its an absolute beauty of a bike and in my opinion the best looking Gsxr Suzuki ever made. (new gsxr is really ugly)

Downgrading to a 600
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 11, 2010Big adjustment from riding a Busa down to a Gixxer 600. I realized that I have to keep the gixxer on high rpm for me to feel it's power. I've had it for 2 months and 2k miles later it kind of grown on me. I enjoy riding it now and hitting the curve much faster than when I would with Busa. Excellent ... bike, easy to handle and yes it's a sharp looking one too. I have the all black version and so far I have installed a Two Brothers slip on and a fender eliminator from Competition Werks.

Beautiful Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 03, 2009When I saw this bike on the floor, I knew it was special. The dealer removed the wheels from the white model, and put them on the blue/white bike. Perfection.
I've owned the bike for two months and I already have 3200 miles on it. The power in the mid-range is enormous. The immediate ... response of the throttle, along with the great handling abilities allows me to maneuver with ease. While I have fun on this bike, it is also setup to give me confidence with safety. If your purchasing a middle-weight bike...look no further...Gixxer is for you!!!

New Rider
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 22, 2009As the title says, I'm a brand new rider... I chose the GSXR because it was the most light, and the styling was beautiful. I got the yellow/silver. The different modes is the best feature, due to me being fairly new at this whole game. I LOVE my bike... although, I think it was a bit pricey... The ... clutch has so much play in it, and I love it. I definitely recommend this bike to not only a new rider, but a female as well =)

Love this Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 28, 2009I bought this bike in august of 08 and was so pleased after having a honda and a crusier, it was all i could ever ask for in a bike. Its sleek, quick and pretty. After 6 weeks I did have an issue where it seemed as though there were intermittent issues with the throttle not getting enough gas and ... the bike would bog and when i hit the throttle i would buck and take off. The dealer could not duplicate so they gave me fuel injector cleaner as a band aid. 4000 miles later this issue went from bad to worse, it happens in 3rd to 6th gear and happened going into a turn at 80mph. I brought it back to the dealer, called suzuki direct and have them working on this, Suzuki stated it is most likely the oxygen sensor. This seems to be a big issue with these bikes and I'm sure it will turn into a recall.
Otherwise, I am missing my bike something serious and cant wait to tear up the roads again.

Beautiful white and silver
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 20, 2008As soon as I saw the white one I had to have it. It looks great with the small hint of blue. I got a good deal when the 09's started to roll out. The only thing I can't stand is the exhaust, but that is easily fixed with after market. It is by far the best bike I have rode and will never leave Suzuki ... for anything else. Go and get one of your one and you will see.

Great sportbike for smaller riders
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 12, 2008The GSX-R has the lowest seat height of the supersports and is very street-user friendly, so it's been perfect for me. I'm 5'2" and worked myself up from a Ninja250. I had the 2007 CBR600RR, but that extra 1/2" seat height just didn't leave me enough leeway for dips at stops. I'd shaved the seat ... but didn't want to lower the bike, so sold it to my husband & got the GSX-R. I LOVE this bike! Very confidence inspiring, and I felt it immediately. I was always killing the CBR getting it into the garage (& my husband does too), but that never happens on the GSX-R, so the throttle is much more forgiving on the GSX-R. Also, there's lots of rain where I live, and it's nice to have the Mode changer to tune it down for wet conditions.
I find the ergos very comfortable, but plan on putting better foam in the seat cause it gets things hurting after 1-2 hours. Just not shaped for a woman's rear; I think ;o).
My bike has the bad oxygen sensor, but Suzuki has been awesome about getting it fixed. I'd still pick this bike again. My dealer ordered this bike with me in mind, & sure enough, I couldn't resist it when I saw & sat on it! I've found it's the perfect bike for me. Only thing left is that I'd love to get it on the track.

08 gixxer 6
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 11, 2008I have had this bike for about5 months/ 9000 miles, and still have not one complaint about the setup. I sold my ZX-10 to get this bike, and i dont regret it one bit. There is power on demand everywhere, and it practically turns itself. I highly recommend this bike to any Suzuki enthusiast.

K8 600
By (I am an Enthusiast) on Sep 29, 2008In spite of all the track monkeys and post hoars, i decided that my first bike was to be a gixxer and i'm glad i ignored the haters. The bike is smooth and easy going when you need it to be and a bat out of hell when the demon in you takes over. I kept it in mode 'C' for about a month until i was ... comfortable. She is the sexiest thing on two wheels and the aftermarket support is excellent. The handling is amazing. Absolutely a back breaker though when riding longer than 2 hours but then again that's what cruisers are for.

Suzuki GSX-R 600
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 28, 2008This bike is the best bike I have owned. I have owned a 2005 suzuki gsxr-600, 2005 suzuki gsxr-1000, and a 2007 suzuki gsxr-600 and all have reach my high standards for a bike. This bike is a lot different from all the other 600s I have owned. It has alot better feel with throttle, alot more mid ... range then any other bike besides the gsxr-1000, and transistions a lot better. Over all this bike is a great street bike and a great bike for the track if your a weekened track enthusiast.

Unbelievable!!!
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 27, 2008I am a new owner of the 2008 GSXR 600 and I love my bike so much! Great handling, acceleration, speed, comfort...too much to list! When I was looking at bikes in the 600 class to buy, my main goal was comfort. In my opinion, I sat on so many different bikes and the Suzuki is the best. The ergonomics ... are great! I really don't have one complaint about the bike. I live outside of Tampa, FL so there aren't really any mountain runs down here...lol. But I did recently take the bike to an area of the state south of Orlando where I could test out the bike safely. I hit some turns and twists pretty hard and got on it on some straight aways. After 2 1/2 hours of riding I just didn't want to stop! Speaking of stopping...I've had to grab a fist full of brakes a few times and let me just say they throw you forward. Great stopping power when you need it. All around a great bike! I'll most likely stick with Suzuki forever!
