I bought a GS 500f this year late in the summer. The list price was $6,800. I got mine for $5,100. (Canada) I love this bike. It is my 9th motorcycle I have always has somewhat small displacement bikes.

I bought mine in the spring of 09 and loved it from the start. Excellent comuter bike and not too bad on the highway either.
