Drive shaft
By (I am an Owner) on May 12, 2012Good day ladies and gentlemen
I am wondering why the drive shaft that went on my 2009 Suzuki Blvd M-50 with about 38000 km on it would go like that ????
is there usually a warning, some kind of noise, but nothing, I was sitting at a red light and then just a loud grinding. ... ???????
Cheers.
Besides that, I love the bike, runs great.

Beautiful Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 23, 2011I just bought the m50 limited edition and got a great deal, i used to have an Intruder 800 and like this bike more! Got it to ride w/wife and she loves it (bought it w/the large sissy bar-worth the money if riding 2). Everyone comments it looks like a Harley w/two tone paint, even Harley owners! ... It has lots of power and I love the black rims and chrome accents. Put 130 mi on it in one day, didn't want to stop riding. My opinion,.. BUY THIS BIKE, it's not too small and not so large its hard to maneuver!

Rides like butter
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 28, 2011I just bought the 2009 Suzuki M50. It was a left over, zero miles, so I got a good deal on it. (Suzuki offering a rebate sale for March.. I got her for $6,000!)
I have only put 100 miles on it so far, but it has been an impressive 100 miles!
The shaft drive is very smooth, shifting ... and all controls are in comfortable places.
Ample power for an 800cc machine. I don't feel overwhelmed and heavy like I do on a bulky 1500, but feel like I have plenty of push when I need to lean on it.
Reasonably agile, light enough to back out of my garage.
The look is very clean, the lines stylized. Every time I look at it I HAVE to touch it.
Seems to handle bumps and frost heaves pretty well.
There are a TON of accessories available for this model. It is going to be a good summer!

2006 Suzuki Boulevard M50
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 26, 2009I bought this bike new in April 2006. I have put 26 thousand miles on it. So far only regular maintenance has been required. This is going to be a tough act to follow. You will not find a better bike for everyday enjoyment.

Just bought one for myself... here's my review
By (I am an Owner) on May 27, 2009I searched all over for reviews when I decided I was going to buy the M50. Now I'm writing one. I couldn't be happier with my decision. I gave it a full review on my personal site. Check it out here:

Pete in NH
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 29, 2009Bought my C50T based on these reviews.
It's revving a lot more freely after a 1000 miles, a big improvement. Very Torquey. A nice machine all in all with enough power for 2 up riding.
SAFETY re: Brakes! Their dangerously marginal at best. I'll check on better pads for the rear ... or trade the bike before I ride it to Montana.
SAFETY re: lights! Standard headlight is evil. My lightbar with 3" lites help but really needed 5 inch lites.
SADLY MISSING: a 6th gear. MODIFIED: windshield got cut down due to wind buffeting on highway. I'm getting 50 mpg & the machine feels good. Bags & windshield on the tourer aren't worth the extra charge. Get the M50 instead & get lites, improved brake pads (if available), a windshield & lockable luggage that keeps things dry, seperately.

Extremely satasfied.
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 17, 2009For the money, ($7599.00) I don't believe that there is a better bike out there. I quickly ran through the break in period and when I got he bike back from the dealer it was like a super tune up. Lotsa torque, good throttle response, great muscle looks and at a great price. I bout the 2009 Limited ... in bl/wh and get many great comments from all cycle riders regardless of brand preferance.

First Motorcycle
By (I am an Owner) on Jan 05, 2009The Suzuki M50 is my first bike in my life and I found it complete in every sense. I would only make two changes t improve, fisrt a 6th gear and second back wheel disc breaks. I bought regular leather saddlebag and a back rest for the passenger and it looks robust and very classic cool. The ridding ... is conformable (I always ride with a passenger) and have no complain on the bike control. I think I made the best choise for the price.

I Can't Say Anything Bad
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 24, 2008I Love this bike. It's a daily driver, except rain but it's a dream. This is a great bike. I can't say how many upgrades there are. If your not happy with the power after you get over the "break in" period, Upgrade it. You don't like the chrome, change it, if you want more chrome, add it. Don't ... like the exhaust, debaffle or buy a different one. so much with so little cash. It even has the modern style. Without Modifications yet (except debaffling the exhaust), i can keep up with the big boys (even 2 up). Again, i can't say anything bad.

Suzuki M50 crusier best bike for the money
By (I am an Enthusiast) on Dec 12, 2008I have dreamed of owning a harley Davidson for the last 40 years but, could not afford one. In the past I have owned many bikes; from the T500 Suzuki,Suzuki 750, Honda 750, Yamaha 650 special etc. but, I have always wanted to own a Harley Davidson.
About amonth ago, my son bought a 2008 Suzuki ... Boulevard M50. Its a beautiful motocycle, its well balanced and easy to handle on the curves as well as open hyways. Its a very comfortable riding bike with excellent braking and great exeleration when needed. The cost of the bike is much lower than I expected for the amount of motocycle that you get. My next motocycle will be a Suzuki Boulevard M50.
Thank you,
Wayne Hall
