Wated Money
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 08, 2013Bike died of an early death after 2 year and less than 4000 miles. Like many (and I mean many) GZ250 the engine died completely costing close to the street value of the bike. Check out the gz205 forums and you will see many people either parting out their bike because the engine died or people ... looking for engines.

Great bike!
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 06, 2009Looks sharp and rides nice. Not fair to complain about about the power, it is a 250cc after all. Still, considering that it is a 250, is still moves nicely. All in all, dollar for dollar, it's a great bike

Just the right size
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 24, 2008I'm 5'8" exactly and this bike is a perfect size for me. Perfect seat highth, too. Fuel economy? I consistently get 68 mpg around town. A quarter of that time I have a passenger.
I keep the speed at 55 mph or less, although I have wound it up a bit higher. For town, or even going a short distance ... on the Interstate, this works well. No use to buy a bigger bike for much more money, poorer fuel economy, higher ins., and more danger with the faster speeds perhaps, if you do around town riding. For a lot of interstate riding, you would need a faster bike, though. Mine just turned 1,900 miles.

Great Little Bike for the Money
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 24, 2008Bought 2008 new in July to ride back and forth to work. While the MPG rating is 82, I have yet to achieve any thing better than 65, but hey that's not bad at $4.00 a gallon gas.
Bike is easy to manuver in town traffic and easy to handle for a smaller person.
I only wish it had a little ... more power. Seat is a little hard and the passenger seat is really bad.
