A WHOLE LOT OF BIKE

Update

I've written before concening this bike, this is an update. Now, with 20,400 miles on the odometer, I can heartily say this is indeed a maintenance free, problem free motorcycle-all those miles and only a turn indicator bulb burned out!Nothing, absolutely nothing else has gone wrong!

My quandry now... is what to upgrade to..I like the Kawasaki's or Hondas, but, with this bikes stellar performance, I'm very leary to leave the Suzuki lineup. Alas, what to do.
Oh, and again, to all that may wonder, on this bike at least, regular gas performs just as well as premium. Read Full Review

20K miles and I know this bike well.

I bought My ’08 C50T, first thing I did was Cobra Straight shots, then Power Commander USB III, then a Hyper Charger. Off to the Dyno and va’ va’ va’ vroom.

It’s a good bike. Mine can not find a 1800cc anything that can get away from my C50T. It will lift the front tire off the ground in the first... 3 gears (I had to test it out, wow).
My CON’s…
1) Driver and Passenger seats are constructed with very low quality foam, a 150mi rides you will feel the seat frame, unless you weigh about 50 lbs or less.
2) No floor boards for passenger???
3) Suzuki branded accessories are way below expected quality level (Just ask anyone who added the ‘Suzuki’ spot lights, burn out due to vibrations every 2 months, and the mount bracket either breaks off or rust shut (where you cannot remove them) within about 6 months - garage kept)
4) Speedometer hello? I thought this bike was designed by the highest level mathematically trained people in the world. Why is the speedometer reading 10% (9.97%) faster than actual causing additional accumulation of miles on the bike’s odometer cutting off the warranty?
5) Final gear is way too low. This bike needs to have the same rear gears as the C90T - the gears fit with no modifications just time to swap them out and $$ for the gears. The C50T power plant can more than handle them. Read Full Review

Overall Satisifaction

Overall I am pleased with my C50T, but because of Suzuki's refusal to honor warranty repairs, I would never buy another Suzuki. The only issue I have with my bike is with the wheels spokes. They corrode, flake and then the chrome peels off. Suzuki's customer service personnel say's they have never h...eard of the problem before; but after checking with several other Suzuki dealers around the country I found out that the problem has been reported several times.
