What took me so long?
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 23, 2012I bought my C109RT October 2011. I had only riden a bike of any size a few times and was a bit nervous. While looking through all of the choices for a big cruiser, I sat on my beautiful blue/white C109Rt and it fit me like a glove. While I did buy it used with 23000 miles on it, I've put 10,000+ ... on mine. Power, comfort, and a real head turner. While all my friends say, "Is that a Harley?" I answer them, better than. It's a solid bike for a big guy like me. It turns heads every time I stop and what amazes me is that Suzuki stopped making this model 3 yrs ago now. Why? It is a beast and rides like a dream. Aside from some maintenance problems recently, I love this bike. In fact I'd buy a new one if that were possible. Now I'm looking for a trailer to pull behind me. 37/40 mpg!!

I Still Love It
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 07, 2012I bought my C109RT (Blu/Wht) from Turn One Motorsports in Plymouth IN in 2008. I had alraedy owned a C50, for about 2 mo. traded on a '06 C90 for more power and room for my wife and loved it, but my friend who had his C50RT and myself a C90RT heard on the wind of a beast from the east. Well our salesman ... new he was due one to come in and sure enough it did, he called us both, I got there too late. DAMN So the salesman felt bad and found me one in Cali, he said you really want one, I said HELL YEAH! Got it and still Love It. Cobra Speedsters and Dynojet proccessor and TRE. You must be careful when twisting the wick on it as you will light up the 240 on the back with ease. The only other bike I want is the Triumph Rocket 3 Roadster, I like arm stretching torque!!!

First tour ride to 2010 Sturgis
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 09, 2010Took bike to Sturgis, put on 3000 miles.
Outran Harley's in my group with ease. Needed no oil adds like Harleys with me. Did not have any breakdowns like 2 of the Harleys with me. Super comfortable for old 300 # guy. Went thru needles and hairpins, custer, blackhills et al -no problem. ... After 1000 miles handles like small rear tire bikes-becomes easy cornering. Why pay 30+K for cvo Sceaming Eagle motor? Met another owner in Sturgis said he rode his C109RT out last year and this year from Idaho with no problems.

great value
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 03, 2009with the exception of the transmission clunk when shifting this bike out shines anything in its class. stabilty with the 240 on the rear is excellent, bags could be a bit bigger but they do the job

Great Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 22, 2009I have had this bike for 9 months and have over 5,000 miles on it. Bike is very stable on the road. I feel just as comfortable going 100 mph (or faster) as 2 mph in a parking lot. It will run circles around my wife's Fatboy and costs thousands less. It accelerates like a sport bike. Would not trade ... it for any other bike. On the down side just about any part has to be ordered. My dealer doesn't even carry spark plugs for it. Also, it is a little clunky shifting from first to second. Before I purchased this bike, I looked at just about every cruiser. This bike offers more bang for your buck than any other

Outstanding Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 03, 2009Purchased this bike Nov 2008. I considered the HD Heritage but price / value became the overriding factor. This Suzuki is smooth, fast and a head turner. First, the size alone is awesome and so is the power. Handling is superb once you get moving. The only down side is checking the oil ... is really a strange experience. But with that aside, you can't go wrong. My HD friends love the bike and are amazed by the quickness. Gas is good, about 50 mpg on the highway, 40 around town. Saddlebags could be bigger but it's a small detail for me. Overall, you just can't go wrong with this motorcycle.

Best bike I ever owned
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 30, 2008I've had my C109RT since 5-30-08 and as of 9-30-08 have put 7200 miles on it. Incredible isn't enough to describe this machine. Mind boggling power, surprizing handling for such a beast and fuel mileage thats equally outstanding. Would not trade it for anything on the market today.

Nothing compares
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 25, 2008The magazine articles you read that tell you that this is setting the standard for the heavyweight cruisers are all true.
This is the perfect bike if you want a cruiser but want to do heavy duty touring as well.
The throttle is a little sensitive when you first get it, but as the miles ... come on, it's broken in and smooth.
The width and weight of the bike (787lbs) make it unstoppable on the road and with the wide windshield and lowers, you barely feel rain, buffering from oncoming traffic and wind.
This is an extremely powerful and stable bike.
