Awesome bike I brought the bike in 2013 from a lady rider she said she could never get the gears down she rode it for about a year it set for all that time her brother would run it sometimes it had 3200 miles on it. But like most said the fuel tank is a little small get about 95-110 miles on a tank ...

Recently sold two bikes and finally purchased a low mileage Suzuki S50 Boulevard. After almost 50 years of two wheel experience and over 30 motorcycles owned, I can honestly say the need to downsize brought me to buy the S50. Turns out it was the best choice I've made in many years.... maybe ever. ...

The little ( midsize actually) machine is a joy to ride, easy to handle, and has lots of go juice for those times when you just can't resist twisting that throttle. Though single disk up front, the Brakes are quite good. Seating position is close to old time standard, which to meat 5'9" is very

comfortable. Taller riders would benefit from forward controls, or highway pegs for longer rides. Lots has been written about the VS 800 and this later version of Suzuki's mid size Intruder cum Boulevard.... it has character, a rather small gas tank, and is carbuerated,

therefore needs close attention to storage with modern Ethanol/Gas mixes.

Use a good additive routinely... And ride this great bike. I consider it Suzuki's best accomplishment on two wheels....

I'm a short woman (5'3'') and I have been riding this bike for 4 years now. Over 13000 miles and so far I have only had to replace the battery, spark plugs and tires this spring. I take it in for regular oil changes and that is really about it. Most people complain about the seat, and the size of ...

  • Great Bike!
By  (I am an Owner) on May 11, 2009

When I first got the bike, It was a little uncomfortable, so I had a seat upholsterer fix it, and it has been great since then.

I could ride all day...except for the one other thing I'm not crazy about: the gas tank is pretty small.

Other than that, I really do think that this ...
