What I wanted all along...

My first bike was a 2001 Suzuki Intruder 800. I loved it but I envied my husband's fuel-injected, big seated 2005 Boulevard C50.

I wanted to find the bike that was right for me though. I looked for months but I kept going back to a 2007 Boulevard someone had traded in for a Harley. I could not fin...d a bike that sat better and had all the things I wanted already, looked great and had a great price. Finally, I had to tell my husband I agreed with him. Hiden Treasure!

I used to have a BMW R 1200 C cruiser.. great bike but I was due for two knee replacements in the next 12 months and couldn't cope with the thought a her sitting on the front porch unused for that time.. so she went ( sadly).. Four weeks after the first knee op.. I was already champing at the bit an...d decided to buy an ' Interim' bike.. The C 50 had been recommended to me by a mate and so I found a used one at a fair price and now she is one of the family.
She has screen.. saddle bags, heated grips, Light bar.. ( yes I am a poser) and Sat Nav system all fitted. Almost all the comforts of home! I have been away with mates from Ulysses and travelled all over the Eastern Seaboard of Australia without a hiccup! (except a new battery last week)
Would I recommend them... OHHH YEAH!!!
Fantastic easy c ruising and even tho she is only an 800cc.. she keeps up with most anything on a long cruisy day!
My Only Gripe is the pillion seat which is great for 10 minutes anad then feels like a backbone destroyer... but otherwise.. She is Terrific!
