great bike for the money, handles with ease.

I bought this 07' c-50, after being absent from riding for 20 years. Handles really well in town and on the highway, not cumbersome for first time riders. I Have added a OEM windshield, backrest, and other accessories including saddle bags. I use a pro-pad gel seat cover because the stock seat gets ...hard after a couple of hours. I have put over 12,000 miles on the first year and not one problem. Also, several 1,400 mile trips this year. The engine does get a bit buzzy at 80-85 mph. but easily goes hours at this rate. I was going to up-grade to a larger cc. but I like the average 48 mpg. I get. I would recommend this bike to any commuter, novice or beginner. There are some plastic "chrome" parts, but that's how you get such a great value bike for the money. Read Full Review

Good Deal

Before our Dealer moved to his new location, he quoted us a fantastic price on matching C50s. We were first time buyers that had done our homework so we could not pass up the deal. My son and I both weigh over 300 pounds so comfort and the right amount of power were high priorities. The C50s long ...wheelbase and time proven 805 engine was exactly what we were looking for. Shaft drive and fuel injection has added to our enjoyment. Years ago I had ridden trail bikes and was concerned that the additional weight of a street bike would be a problem for this senior. I found the low seat and the good overall handling characteristics quickly put my fears at ease. Bottom line, I would definitely buy a C50 again. Read Full Review

My First Bike

I always dreamed of owning my own bike since I was a kid and rode with my Dad on his Honda. I inherited this one from my husband. After having it only 9 months, he went to trade it in on a Harley, he would have taken a loss on it and I offered to take over the payments. I went to the Rider's Edge cl...ass and the rest is history. I love it! I haven't rode other bikes so its hard for me to compare, but, at this price it is absolutely awesome. Just ask my husband who is now hating that Fatboy payment. He only went for the Harley because my neighbor bought a Yamaha V-Star with a bigger engine. You know how boys are....haha. Excellant Bike

Bought my bike Sept 2007. Presently have 6000 miles on it. I have had no problems at all. The rear seat was uncomfortable for my wife on long rides. I had it redone last winter by Mean City Cycle in North Carolina. Excellant job by them. They made the seat 5" wider and much more comfortable.

Bought a C50 new and now have 15000 miles on it

This bike is a great bike. Only done oil changes and thats it. Wish it has a little more at the top to keep up with the 1100's of the world but it is definetly a sleeper for a 800. GREAT BIKE. Read Full Review
