    Learning to ride was on my bucket list! This is a great bike for a new or experienced rider. I purchased my 2006 M50 used back in 2014. The previous owner added some great aftermarket items. He added beach handlebars, detachable windshield, heal/toe shifter with footboards, mustang seat w/backrest, ...


    I'm not sure if the exhaust is stock, but it has a nice rumble to it and not too loud. When I bought the bike, I didn't realize that most of the cosmetic parts were plastic. That works in my favor because I can move the bike around easier when backing out of a parking spot or turning around in a tight space.


    Love this color, the contrast of the black wheels, and the sporty taillights. Since I've owned it, only replaced wear/tear items (cable) and a tire. I wasn't sure if riding would be a short-term fad, so didn't want to spend a lot of money and the riding season is short where I live. Very happy with the liquid cooled engine too! Went on some charity rides during the summer and my friends who drove Harleys complained that their legs were getting burned from the heat of their engine.

    07 C50t is a super comfy cruiser. Its great for Rollin around with the gal.The 50ci motor has plenty of power to haul us up any hill here in Oregon. When you ride,it's like lounging in your recliner on the highway. Huge saddle bags and windscreen which allowed me to ride all winter due to the wind protection. Never thought I was the hwy cruiser type.. I definitely am.

    Picked up the C50t from someone who had it covered under tarp along side the garage since 2016 non running although perfect condition. 19k on the dial took it home hit it with start fluid and fired on 1st crank. Came to conclusion fuel pump was bad. I just happen to have had a used one out of car that fit lol. Still a year later rollin on same fuel pump lol. Between m50 and c50t I've clocked 13k since July last year. Never left stranded , never broke dwn once.

    Overall a inexpensive low maintaince bike you can abuse and still get home without pushing it.

    Not bad Suzuki not bad at all.

    I have owned my 2006 M50 since new. I have added some extras. Great gas mileage and good response. I needed a gel seat to ride longer rides which helps. I like fuel injection, drive shaft, electronic ignition and water cooled. 14,000 miles and going strong.

    I personally own an m50, although it has modified cobra pipes. If you want something small and sporty for no cost, the m50 is where it is at.     If you are in the market for a mid size cruiser, do yourself a favor and check out the M50. It's sporty looks set it apart from the crowd. Mine gets big compliments everywhere I go.

    I've got 13K on the odometer and have not had one single issue. This bike is very easy to maintain and inexpensive to own and upkeep. Starts great in all weather and runs like a top. I consistently average about 52mpg with most of my riding being a 50/50 combination of commuting in the city and pleasure cruising the open road on weekends. The bike is very light and handles superbly in the twisties for a cruiser. Slow speed maneuvering is a cinch also. A lot of owners have complained about the seat, although this has not been an issue for me and my tailbone; there are lots of aftermarket solutions out there if it is an issue with you. Generally the seat complaints are that it doesn't have enough padding. Your mileage may vary.

    I will have to say the rear brakes could be a little better, since to keep costs down, Suzuki fitted the M50 with a rear drum instead of a disc brake. Just don't drive like an idiot and it shouldn't be a problem, in fact I think it's made me a better (more cautious) rider. Just watch your following distances.

    The exhaust note is a little on the quiet side, but this isn't an issue, if you want it louder, just slap any number of aftermarket systems on, or you can easily de-baffle the stock system like I have. This definitely made mine sound much better and meatier! I've only added some hardbags with the easily removable 'ghost brackets' to mine so far, and although there doesn't seem to be quite as many accessories as some of the more popular models out there, plenty of aftermarket parts and accessories are available for this bike. With an inverted fork, Suzuki's excellent GXSR derived fuel injection, shaft drive and custom-looking blacked out mag wheels and engine, Suzuki's really hit a home run with this model. I looked at a lot of bikes before finally deciding on the M50. Although this is the first bike I have owned, I have been riding friends' and my brother's bikes off and on for years. I feel that for the money, I couldn't have made a better decision in my first motorcycle purchase. If its muscle/sporty looks appeal to you, you owe it to yourself to give the M50 a closer inspection, I think you'll be impressed.
