		The Suzuki S40 (LS650, Savage) is an amazing starting bike or an around town bike. A lot of people tend to ask what this little bike is. Many people remark its big single cylinder power plant, but do this get the job done? Yes, it's gets everything done.<br /><br />

Around town, the S40 wants to leap off the<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;"> line thanks to the big 652cc single cylinder.  Highway isn't a problem. Although, it feels outta breath after 70 mph but can get up to 85-90 mph tops with additional vibration from hell. Low end torque is the best performance feature.<br />
<br />
Quality and build is great but beware of the stock brake pads. Wear outs happen and need to be replaced quick within 1500-2000 miles. Also double check on those bolts on the header. Single cylinder means vibration. Shifting is clunky but neutral is super easy to find. Super easy to maintenance (belt drive, one cylinder, 1.8 liter of motor oil) how easy can it get?<br />
<br />
Ride and comfort, not the best if you mind the vibration. Cruise around town with ease and on highway with a little more effort. Ride is soft and easily can be flicked around corners faster than any other cruisers thanks to its 370-380 wet weight.<br />
<br />
Value, a good steal! 1000 - 1500 USD is the steal for a used S40.</span>

		I can't say enough good things about this bike...  took my motorcycle class, began a search for a bike...  dove into the Suzuki S40 educating myself on it...  then, I found one...  an 05' with 371 miles on it, new battery, came with extras, and pearly white...  perfect condition...  since I got it, <span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;">I have ridden every day over three weeks, except two!!  not big on going fast, though it handles 60mph fine...  do a lot of back road riding... I keep up fine with my other half who rides a Harley Softtail...  Yeah, you go Suzuki!!!  great started bike to hang onto for awhile till you feel you want more...  but for now...  the &quot;more&quot; is plenty for me.  Did first bike rally, did well...  gotta watch the gas tank...  it's only 2.8 gals...  other then that...  it's all Good...  I am very happy </span>
