A solid bike
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 08, 2012I've been riding my TOUR for over 2,000 milkes through the winter. Seat comfort and riding position were the best I could find in the 250cc range. I get 75 mpg. Shifting is positive and the bike cruises happily 60-65 MPH at hald throttle. 80 is tops but the bike vibrates a high tingle and it's ... obviously happier at 65 - and so am I. The TOUR is well-appointed with extra lights, foot boards, hard bags, self-extinguishing turn signals and a solid windshield. I made a bracket and added a top-case (which should be a factory option on something called a "Tour".)
I got this bike for trips as well as commuting. I've already done 2,500 miles through the Rockies and Cascades on a 250 and plan to do more with this bike. It's truly impressive.
