Best Scooter for the Money
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 18, 2013Quality built 125cc, 4-cycle scooter with 2-year warranty. Very stylish without trying to be a Ninja or a Vespa. Belt drive automatic with well-built engine and good braking ability. This scooter will do 60 MPH on a flat surface (a bit faster downhill) and will maintain 45 mph up moderate hills. ... Although it lacks the low end torque of a 2-cylce engine, it still has enough zip to get off the line well and will not hold up traffic. Gas mileage as stated when driven moderately, but less when full throttle is applied liberally. Guages are few and simple which makes it easy to see what is most important. The chassis is solid and the ride good for a scooter. The only reason I didn't rate the performance and ride as 'great' is because of the 4-cylce engine and the simple fact that scooters are not as comfortable as larger motorcycles. The under seat space is very roomy and can store a helmet or small amount of groceries. Lance has created a winner with this bike. Most quality bikes in the same category cost at least a third more than the Lance.
