    Use the highest octane you can find and do NOT use ethanol gas. My scooter shop said the first year they opened they used high octane ethanol gas and when they came back after winter break they had to drain it out of all the scooters. It had a terrible, rancid smell and they didn't want to start. ...

    I have owned my lambretta for 4 years and no issues. Don't use crap gas and you won't have issues. Manufacture calls for premium, pony up the extra 60 cents o fill it with premium and this scooter runs like a top.

    I bought two, they are always in the shop, leave them sit for more than 10 days, and the Carb is clogged. Nothing but constant issues. Will never purchase a Lambretta product again.
