2011 KTM XC 150

Just picked up a low hr 2011 150xc bike that came up at a good price.

Wanted something to ride in the trees and single track which would compliment my other bike a Husaburg FE570 which I use for more open riding and adventure rides.

Was looking for a 200exc but the 150xc came up and ... having heard great things I decided to go for the 150 due to it having the latest frame and better forks. This thing is a honey and is real fun to ride, sure you've gota change gears a bit more than larger displacement bikes but the bigger bikes cant come close to handling like this machine. After the usual comments of "oh I see you've brought your sons bike today" etc but it wont take long in the trees for most bigger bike riders to disappear off your rear guard and become very quiet when they finally arrive back at the car park after you.

This thing still pulls well mid range up and has alot more bottom end than a 125 with its better gearing and added flywheel weight.

just took delivery a few days ago of my 2011 150 xc. once I got the suspension working right and bedded in over the weekend I have to say this bike is truly epic to ride. my previous bike was a 250 sx which for trail riding and enduros was really a bit of a handfull where as the 150 is like riding ... a mountian bike. if I have one issue with the bike it is that my 16 year old has told me the bike is now his and I can have his old 125 sx. yea right. only 2 of these have made it into New Zealand and I am stoked that I managed to get my hands on one. I am never selling it.
