This bike is very powerful and has very convenient instrumentals. It only has 2 cylinders so its not as strong as 4 cylinders which makes it a good choice for beginners who want something to hang on too for a while instead of getting a 250 and then getting rid of it. I have the 2012 Ninja 650 sport. Plenty of get up n go for the streets.

These are higher maintenance bikes.

If u run them fairly hard u'll eat tires n chains/sprockets.

Also valve adj. need to be done every 7500-10,000 miles with plugs changed out.
