Amazing bike

I currently have this bike and an 848 evo, and although I look forward to looking at the evo more, I look forward to riding this one everyday. Even if this thing loses half it's value in 3 years, you're still getting the best middle weight sport bike available. It's smooth as silk, the engine is ama...zing and pulls all the way from 2000 on to 14000 on mine. The brakes are razor sharp and it's so comfortable to ride, the riding position is comfortable enough and the tank is nicely sculpted, mines set up for the street and you don't feel the bumps, i recently hit a bowling ball size bulge in a roundabout while avoiding a truck, and although it got a bit up in the air, she landed safely and rode through it. I also have 10,000km on the stock bridgestones and can still confidently get a pretty good lean on. It could use some more wind protection at the front, but overall stability and aerodynamics are quite good especially in the crosswinds. The lap button is also in a pretty ridiculous place, turning that whole feature into a bit of a novelty item vs something that is functional.

Finally, I can't say much about value, as I don't live in the states, so where I live this bike costs about $10,000, while the other 600s here are marked up to $15000, so it's great value out here! Read Full Review

Why the enormous price hike?

I'd rather get a lightly used Duc 749(s) if i was to spend the extra $1000 as last years(the same) model.



Great bike, bad value. I test rode a 2009 ZX6R but ended up on a duc 916



If you make 6 figures go ahead, a guy on a regular salary might want to think about something more special that wil...l hold value better than this bike.
