09 KX 250F

I got the 09 KX 250F back in November of 08, I bought the first one that came to Oregon. I have ridden KX's all my life. I was a Two stroke man all the way. I have ridden the 05' and 08' KX 250F's as well as the 07' KX 450F and the 03 YZ 250F, and was happy with my 04 KX 250. But after a mud race ...where the trace became really one lined and only a few places to pass I found out the need for the new Four strokes. There was a girl in front of me and I tried as hard as I could to pass her I couldn't, all I did was spin my wheel and she caught traction and would pull away. After that day I was down for getting a fore stroke. I am hooked on the 09 KX 250F and can't wait till next year's model comes out to get one of those and see how good it is.

Now after riding the 05' and 08' KX 250F I was not really happy about the power loss I was going to have to deal with. After the break in period I was out for my first ride. The first thing I found is that there was a lot more power then the other 250F's I had ridden. I was impressed. After riding it for about 30 minutes I found that not only did it have the power I wanted it also cornered better then any bike I had ever ridden. I also found that the suspension was spot on for me. I am 5'9" and 170 pounds and an intermediate MX rider. From the first time I put my leg over the 09 KX 250F I am happy I bought it. I am so pleased with the power, suspension, handling, the ergos, and most of all the track-ability. It is still not a two strokes but I will take it 9 times out of 10.
