By  (I am an Owner) on Dec 14, 2010

I am very happy with this bike. Before I got this one, I owned a 2001 Honda Shadow 750 ACE. Let me tell you there was a hugh difference in power, handling, shifting, and weight. I guess I lucked out and just have a natrual feel to any sort of bike. On the other had I have recieved an letter from ...

  • Top heavy - rides nice on highway
By  (I am an Owner) on May 15, 2010

But it was too top heavy and I bought a Yamaha Roadliner 1900, more power but less weight and much more stable and easier to handle as they have the weight distributed so evenly. I know many HD owners who have been won over. I loved the Nomad but it was scary feeling like it was a matter of time ...

By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 24, 2009

I replaced my 2007 900 vulcan classic lt with the 2008 Vulcan Nomad. As of today 06-24-09 I have over 32,000 miles on it. "Really" I ride it everywhere. I have replaced the rear tire twice and the front tire once. Its the red and black one and it rides so good. Its an amazing bike.

I bought my 2008 Vulcan Nomad in January 2008. Since then I have about 7,500 miles on it. The bike is great. Good power, good mileage. Looks great too. I have added a bunch of accessories to it.

  • I Love My Vulcan!
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 19, 2009

I bought my 2008 Nomad April 13, 2009, which was Good Friday as well. It was the BEST FRIDAY I have ever had! My sis-in-law had bought hers a week earlier and once I tried it I had to have one too!

The dealer found mine at another dealership and it was a new leftover! I traded in my 2008 Sportie, ...

I just hate to park it. I would sleep with it if I could get it in the house..LOL!!

I just bought my new 2008 Nomad after riding a 2005 R1, going from a space ship to my new ride I have to say for my first cruiser I love the thing. Very smooth to ride, beautiful bike to look at. I find myself in the garage late at night just looking it over and have no complaint. All in all I love ...

  • Just Bought it
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 09, 2009

It's still too wintry in the Chicago area for me to fully enjoy my new mount. But, the first 89 miles (on the way home from the dealer) were pure heaven! I traded a 2004 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100--it was a great bike. The Nomad is even better--a smooth, stable ride, power available with a small ...

  • WHAT A RIDE !!!!
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 13, 2008

Traded my 800 classic for the 1600 Nomad, WHAT A RIDE!. Best bang for the buck, little is needed to customize it since it came with everything already. It's a head turner, I get compliments everwhere I ride. Got it in August logged 2500 miles and every time I get on it it's a new thrill to be enjoyed. ...

  • LOVE MY NOMAD
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 11, 2008

Bought my Nomad in August as a surprise while my wife was in Germany. Though she was speechless at first, she totally loves riding on it. Very smooth ride, and comfortable for two. Its one of the more beautiful bikes and stylish. After shopping around, I felt this bike had more to offer for the buck. ...

  • Best bang for the Buck of All Metrics
By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 02, 2008

I bought my 2008 1600 Nomad 3 months ago today. I have logged in over 9,600 miles in that time. I just finished a 3K trip thru the western states and this bike has it all. From the cruising comfort of doing 500 mile days (3 in a row) and feeling no pain...even my wife who was with me felt the same ...

the rumble with the VnH pipes really gives it a great thump!

It is a beast and not for the timid...but once up and going this machine really blows me away... with the weight it has, it really holds up great when you get those unexpected side winds crashing on you...the bike never waiver ed once when that happened.

heyha! what a feeling...very easy to steer and handle i find the passage between de first and second gear to be more hawkward than the others ones though ...maybe the lack of experience??
