Reliable and fun to ride.
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 15, 2022My vn1600 nomad has given me zero problem's. The odometer has 76578 on it. I put a cobra power commander along with billet cobra exhaust and she's been trouble free. Installed a windshield and handle bar riser's for the stock bars. There's Plenty of power . Very decent Mpg's . Very comfortable to ... ride. Trouble free drive shaft. I have alot of bikes and I love every single one of them. But with the exception of any enduro riding. My 2005 Kawasaki VN1600 Vulcan Nomad is my go to bike . I highly recommend anyone who might find one used for sale to buy it and enjoy the ride .

05 Vulcan 1600
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 25, 2015This bike has been incredibly reliable for me. I have put approximately 20 thousand miles on it so far. No major break downs or repairs. It is well balanced and has plenty of power for riding two up. The only problem I have had with it so far is this: I was in a hurry one morning and went to ... get my bike from the shed behind my house. My dog was hooked in the back yard on the runner. He was sprawled out on the grass taking a nap. I was running a little behind that morning and didn't have time I bring him inside. I drove over the runner cable and got it kicked up into the rear tired as I was pulling out into my driveway. It jerked my dog and caught his leg in the cable, causing me to drag him 50 feet or so and broke his leg in two places in the process. I felt horrible. My advice: don't drive over rope, cable, or lines. Other than this no serious issues. A great bike.

Impressed Me!
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 26, 2011I bought my 05 Classic brand new in November of 05. Was a little apprehensive since I am not a cruiser type and this was my first cruiser. Honestly, I fell in love with the bike. It has been absolutely trouble free for 38,000 miles. Decent gas mileage as well as good ergonomics allowed me to use ... this bike for many 600 mile days (after I changed the stock seat to an aftermarket seat and put a windshield on it.)I would recommend this bike to anyone!

Perfect Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 28, 2011Just bought a used 2005 Vulcan 1600 Classic. The bike has everything you could want - shaft drive, adjustable clutch and brake grips, comfortable seat, and electronic ignition. Just a super ride. I was fortunate to get mine with a windshield, sissy bar, and hard bags included. Can't go wrong ... with this one.

1600 Classic
By (I am an Owner) on Feb 17, 2009I purchased this bike used from a friend with 1,000 miles on it. I was not looking for a Kawasaki. When I compared it to the bike I was looking at it was a no brainer. From the liquid cooled engine, fuel injection, shaft drive to the 5+ gallon tank the ride a balance it beat out the HD that I was ... looking to get.
