2009 Hyosung Aquila GV250

I bought my 2009 Hyosung gv250 two years ago. This has been a surprisingly great deal . There have been no problems at all with the motorcycle . After having back surgery I was a bit worried about riding again . Of course my doctor was against it, but after A short 50 mile test ride I was ready ... for the road again. Finding the first ride comfortable in shock absorption and riding position. I have yet to find a single problem with this motorcycle, and have recommended it to quit a few people. If you are looking for a motorcycle with the speed as well as comfort as the more expensive brands , with a much smaller price tag, this is the way to go.

Bought my 2009 GV250 new in Feb 2012 at a great price as a leftover/closeout! Love the bike! It's my first bike and a great one to learn on. I ride almost everyday commuting to work. The Piglet even does well keeping up with my big Hog buddies on weekends for great rides through the Texas hill-country. ... Consistently gets between 60-62 mpg and no mechanical trouble of any kind. Only two minor discomforts: the seat and brakes. The passenger seat sits a big forward and bites into my back side; but I've removed the passenger seat and now it's very comfortable - even on the long hill country rides. The brakes are effective, but they tend to squeek if there's any moisture in the air. Other than that it's a pleasure to own and ride. I get a lot of looks and many have stopped me to ask me what it is or what size it is. No one can believe it's a 250...doesn't ride like a 250 either. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great starter bike, or just looking for an inexpensive way to commute and have a great time for little money!

When I first got my Aquila I thought it a was nice big bike. Beautiful to ride and comfortable too.

Not too much to complain about except a couple of small issues, Battery was faulty, front break light faulty, cheap chain needed tightening too much to the extent that I broke my chain ... guard. But this was easy to fix and not too costly. So it was easy to overlook.

I got this baby new and in just over a year and a half have almost put 20k on the clock. I commute and take long rides every chance I get. Now I think she is a small bike and can't wait to upgrade. In the beginning she was really efficient on petrol/gas because I was easy on her and was learning to ride. Now I give her hell at the lights and on the freeways so she is a little less efficient. But I still don't fill up anywhere near as much when I had a car.

Over all I think this bike is a great start for the new rider and at such a great price it really can't be beaten on looks, size, comfort, and is reliable (I think mine was just one of those rare ones that do have problems). I just love the confidence that I have gotten from this bike and am glad to have chosen this one to learn on.

I bought my motorcycle last year. I am a newbie with riding. My husband rides a harley. I love my bike...I can keep up with him except I choose not with high speeds yet till I am more experienced. Love the style. I get many oompliments on it. My only complaint is the seat is very hard...hurts to ... ride longer than 40 miles without stopping.

I bought this Hyosung Aquila 250 in the Fall of 2009. Got a far better deal on it than the competition was willing to offer. Already put 600 miles on it. Not a single complaint. People compliment me on its looks all the time. Mpg is okay. I'm averaging around 60 city/hwy with premium octane. My older ... Honda 250cc Interceptor gets around 70 mpg with regular octane. The Aquila 250 has lots of low end power. Still breaking it in so I haven't gone full throttle, but I can easily get it up to 75 mph. I like the digital display with speed, odometer, time, and fuel level. I wish it also displayed rpm, but that's my only suggestion for improving this bike. I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend that anyone shopping for a 250cc class bike give it a test spin.

I bought my GV250 in May of '08. Just had my 5,000 mile service and she gets better and better with every mile.

The gas mileage is unbeatable as well!

Well, I just logged 2,000 miles on my baby, and she is only getting stronger. The entire bike is really incredible...a really peppy 250 that acts like a 750, sweet ass paint that catches the eye and keeps you safe, handling better than my old BMW, and performance like my old Harley. All and all, ... a great bike. I added bags, a windshield, had the bikes done, and redid the jettting; all for about $200.00. It was well worth it. Removal of the small inner muffler adds not only marked performance, but sounds great, but not loud. I turn heads everywhere I go, and it just goes and goes. Like all bikes, I recommend using only top grade gas. A++++++++++++

I bought this bike for my wife and she can't stop raving about it. She turns heads everywhere she goes and we have already been to a couple of bike rallys together. She has little to no problems keeping up with me on the highway. I've ridden it a few times for service and moving it around. It ... handles very good and splitting lanes is easy with this bike. Highway speeds are good and we have even gone two up on this bike. Our average speeds are between 70-75 MPH depending on the headwind but that's a comfortable speed on the highway. There really is no need to go much faster than that if you're trying to play it safe and get to your destination in a reasonable amount of time. The bike even has a large gas tank at 3.7 gallons. The bike will average about 140 miles per gas tank depending on how hard you ride it. I like the simplicity of the bike and the the digital instrument cluster that it has for MPH, Gas gage,and onboard clock and trip meters. Great bike for the money, size and durability.

Being a new female rider, I really looked at many sensible bike options and found this bike to be the best in all categories. The unlimited 2yr warranty, the size, weight, looks, and of course price were all initial pluses but then when I finally got to ride my bike...oh yah! GREAT decision! It ... is so comfortable, manageble, great on curves, easy shifting, super breaking. My husband (Harley rider) rode the bike home from the dealership for me and acutally said it was really a lot of fun for such a little bike. It has a lot packed in it for it's size...doesn't even look like a 250! For any new tentative rider, you will love this bike...it looks pretty sexy too!
