CT area buyers beware!!!

I purchased my 08 sm450r from MotoFit in Danbury, CT this past april of 09. the dealer had me ride it 600 miles for break in and they told me to come back after 600 to do the power up kit and service for $400.00. The power up kit includes a slip-on arrow exhaust and re-mapping of the computer. The b...ike is restricted heavily until you bring it back to your dealer for the upgrade. When i brought it back at about 600 miles they tried charging me $800.00. Anyways we got that straightened out and I brought it home. Since they tuned it I've had to bring my bike back 4 times already. I've barely rode it this summer. It will run fine for 15 minutes and as soon as it gets hot it starts running horrible(sputtering, backfiring, stallling, etc.) One day after picking it up I hopped on the highway and it stalled out on me doing 65...not safe on I-84. My situation has been a nightmare. This bike has serious potential and awesome features, just make sure you buy from a reputable business, not scumbags. Anywyas If my bike worked i'd rate it a 9. The seat's not good for long rides but it stops on a dime and handles great and has some serious power waiting to be unleashed. Read Full Review
