		    The 2006 Goldwing is my 30th motorcycle and I have been riding for 50 years and logged over 600K miles.   The Goldwing has no peers when it comes to 1 or two up touring.  I love everything about the bike including the built in NAV and ABS brakes which I will not live without again.   <br /><br />
     Spec<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;">ific dislikes are the price for accessories; the high cost of repairs; and poor handling at 1-2 mph.  It is like turning a coal barge at near stop and if you are not careful, is not hard to drop!!   At any speed above 2 mph, it handles like a feather!<br />
        In two years, I have put 48K miles on the bike and love it.</span>

I believe I may have purchased one of the only 2006 Goldwing &quot;Level 5&quot; Airbag models in the Oklahoma City Metro Area.  I bought this bike in early December 2006.  I feel I got a good deal on the price as this one had sat on the showroom floor for several months.  I don't think ve<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;">ry many potential buyers were willing to spend the extra money for the airbag option.<br />
<br />
I am 38 and have been riding since I was 8 years old in one form or another.  In the past 3 years I have owned a Vulcan 1500 Classic, a Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom, a BMW K1200GT, and a Suzuki C109RT.  Throughout all these other rides, the Goldwing has set and still maintained the standard.  The Goldwing has it all:  the best ergonomics, the best wind protection, the best amenities, and much more.  I have to admit the BMW K1200GT was an absolute riot, but when forced to choose between it and the Goldwing I stayed with the Wing.<br />
<br />
I do feel safer with the airbag option as well.  To me, the bike is state of the art in safety, and it still rides and handles like a big sports bike.<br />

2006 Honda Goldwing Review

The 2006 Goldwing is my 30th motorcycle and I have been riding for 50 years and logged over 600K miles. The Goldwing has no peers when it comes to 1 or two up touring. I love everything about the bike including the built in NAV and ABS brakes which I will not live without again.
