Love my Silberwing
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 10, 2019I have had my 2007 Silverwing for about 5 years. I have Harley's, I have a VYX1800R and I still find myself pulling out the Silverwing. I went on a week tenting trip to Maryland on it. I could load the silverwing up twice as much as I could do on the other bikes. Comfort, Power, you just can[t ... beat it.

Save yourself
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 31, 2009Dear motorcycle rider:
Save yourself, if you ever want to ride a real motorcycle again do not buy one of these. I bought an '07 two years ago and 40,000 miles later I can't go back to riding a " real motorcycle ". Imagine sitting in your favorite easy chair doing 90 mph. There was a poster ... in the '70s with a guy in a recliner with his hair and tie blown straight back by the shear power of the speakers he was listening to. That is a Honda Silverwing. So go out and bait the sneering driver in the black F350 who just realized he has to do triple digits to catch you. Great fun.

New 2007 Honda Silverwing is great!
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 15, 2009I have ridden my Silverwing 200 miles in the 8 days I have had it. Snow, rain, and cold weather have slowed my ridig. This is a big, comfortable, heavy scooter. 0-60 is 7.8 sec, and top speed is 110 MPH (I haven't done either). The acceleration is outstanding! Even with a passenger, it will ... absolutely fly. I bought this scooter as an RV'ing vehicle, and will tow it in a covered utility trailer. The amount of storage is great. I have mounted a "trunk" on it, and with a pair of saddlebags, plan to take overnight trips with my wife. I think we can do some 3-nighters during the summer. I can't wait to take this scooter on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Smokey Mountains. I think Florida will also be fun, riding by the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf. This is a serious machine, and seems to be much more practical than most any motorcycle except perhaps a Gold Wing, and they cost $20,000 now. If the Lord keeps me alive, I hope to put many, many miles on this machine!
