The CBR250R is an amazing value at $4000. The fuel injected, closed loop catalyst equipped single, together with excellent aerodynamics, make this the most fuel efficient and trouble free daily commuter motorcycle that is still capable of running comfortably at 80 mph. This bike is a dart on the hig...hway. I get 87 mpg US at 67 mph in good weather and 79 in sub 32F rain with the grip muffs on. The best I can get on my carbureted Ninja is 66 mpg. There is plenty of knee room for taller riders and it's very light for beginners to yank out of the garage. ABS only adds $500 if you want the ultimate in safety for high speed riding in the rain. The all new Honda is the perfect blend of fuel efficiency, just enough power from a wide, low torque curve, excellent ergo and aerodynamics, and price. Fun little toy

I've had the 2011 CBR250R for about four months now and have clocked a little over 2000 miles on it. I gotta say, it's a fun little bike. It's perfect for commuting, which is what I use it for most. It's light and nimble and has enough power to be zippy in traffic.



The bike is comfortable and fee...ls competent up to around 60 miles an hour. Past that, you can feel the bike 'pushing it'. On windy days, the bike gets blown around a lot, but never feels out of control. It simply leans into the wind like a sailboat and rides slightly tilted.

There have been several occasions, however, when I've gone to get another gear and found that there isn't one. A larger gas tank would also have been appreciated. Read Full Review

Nice pep

I rode a EX500 for a couple of years before grabbing this one. I wanted something good on gas and fuel injected(The biggest reason I picked this over a Ninja 250). I was afraid that coming from a 500 this bike would feel weak.. It doesn't. The single cylinder makes commuting a amazing and this bikes... is so nimble that the curves practically carve themselves. Already did a track day on it and I have very impressed with my little buy. For 4k, you would be hard pressed to beat this little guy. Acceleration and highway are no problem - and at 5'8, 215lbs I am by no means a small guy. This bike handles my weight just fine. Ultimate commuter! Great on gas and looks sexier than any scooter. Great daily use bike!

I rode my bike nearly every day. I've had it less than 4 months and have over 5K miles on it.



The efficiency is great averaging 70mpg, and is very easy to ride. Ride position and comfort is great. I added the touring screen to push more air away while doing long super slab trips.



I love the... engine! I don't have to keep revs up for torque so I easily get great mileage.

Well worth the money!
