My 2008 CBR1000rr

i replaced my 2006 CBR1000rr (also a great bike) with the 2008 and was immediately smitten with its lightness, cool looks as i got one of limited all black ones, mis-range,agility, its like riding a 350 with 1000cc engine in it!

i have since ditched the rear mudguard and number plate holder for a t...idy kit, fitted a carbon hugger, pilot race tyres, Ohlins rear shock, front ohlins R/T forks, pwr commander 5 with LV carbon tail pipe and bigger throttle bodies around 178bhp at the crank!
only issues with the bike is the paint work on the plastic tank cover it chips easy

awsome bike

this is my third bike and i ride daily its super fun, smooth, fast, and the power weelies in third on I95 are a thirll honda customer service was very helpful with all of my conserns and questions overall i feel that this model is one of the best bikes ive ever seen. Read Full Review

A few mods away from unbeatable

I bought this bike new for $8500 in spring of 2010. Invested <$1000 in performance parts and now the bike puts out ~165hp at the rear wheel. If you need to spend 2-3X more on a Ducati or Harley to compensate for shortcomings of your manhood, be my guest. I'm happy with the bang I got for my buck.... Get on,hold on and haul ass
