  • 7000 miles on mine 365/yr MO: 5 degrees to 105 deg
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 13, 2015

At $3000 MSRP it's 3x as expensive as Chinese, but 2 new tires and 2 fluid changes in 7000 miles--that's it! This bike is maintenance-free.

I ride it every day. One time I did ride it in 5 degree weather (Jan '15) and had to hit the starter for at least a full minute before it started--but ...

After that I set a minimum of 15-20 degrees for riding.

It has constant, smooth acceleration which lags a bit around 15-30 but is good in other ranges.

The underseat storage is 35 LITERS! You cannot beat this, and you can't even get close with another bike.

It holds a full-face helmet and a half helmet, and rain pants, jacket, gloves, and miscellany, plus whatever you put in the glovebox.

Or a full grocery run for 1 person with no issues. (It also holds beer just fine, still in the carton.)

10" wheel is annoying, but handling is fine for a scooter.

Water-cooled and fuel-injection, you just can't beat that. No kick-start, but you'll never need one.

I ride double often...and have ridden triples 3 times!

Get the full Honda windshield, just spend the money, it's worth it. A flyscreen is not enough, I had a half-shield and it just didn't cut it.

Super quiet, comfy seat, suspension is meh. Bike is a little heavy but you can just "walk" on the center stand (I weigh 190 lbs) and it will go up on the stand with zero effort.

I think I get around 95 mpg, 90-95 is average observed according to fuelly.

The governor/restrictor is super-annoying, it cuts in at around 49 mph (otherwise it would go 55), although you could fool it with a larger diameter tire.

This is my primary vehicle, I ride rain or shine. Although I have ridden this in snow I do NOT recommend it AT ALL. I cheat now and just use my car. Usually.

I would buy another one, I love it.

Best where speed limits are 45 or less...I ride in city traffic every day, but take side roads to avoid 50+ for more than 1/2 mile.

  • Great little scooter
By  (I am an Owner) on May 17, 2012

I live at 5300 feet altitude in a hilly area, Rio Rancho, NM. This scooter still accelerates faster than a car under normal acceleration. I am averaging 109 mpg in town. Very smooth compared to all other scooters I have ridden. LOTS of storage. Great handling. At this altitude, on the steepest ...

  • Superp city scooter
By  (I am an Owner) on Jan 06, 2012

I stepped up from a Honda Metropolitan to the Elite 110. The Elite is fast enough for street riding and nimble, with great cornering and fine brakes. Fast off the line so impatient cagers are not sitting on my tail when I get going at a green light.

    Battlescooter sells a kickstand ...

  • Everything perfect except kick stand and windshield
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 18, 2011

I have had the Elite 110 for 4 months and logged 1,400 miles so far. The design and workmanship are perfect. If it had 2 other items (side kickstand and windshield) there would not be anything under 50 mph to even consider.

I have added a collapsible tool bag (RYOBI with a wooden ...

great scoot. $3k otd w/$500 honda bucks. super reliable, easy to maintain, great storage underseat. amazing (100mpg) mileage -- it'll pay for itself in a year over driving my car. 52mph easy, very maneuverable. outstanding braking. put on top case, battery tender, louder horn (fiamm freeway ...

  • Excellent Scooter
By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 29, 2010

This is my first scooter and I will say it has been the best piece of transportation I have owned. So far I'm completely satisfied with the overall value and performance of the Honda 110 Elite. I'm 6'1" and 250 lbs and my stock 110 can easily keep up with normal traffic. With my weight the scooter ...

  • LOVE THIS SCOOTER!
By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 11, 2010

I bought it after looking around a LOT and after driving a piece of junk (Roketa) that lasted only 1.5 years before I had to invest a lot of $$ in it to get it running enough to sell it.

The Honda quality is highly apparent--and I only paid about $700 more for the Honda than I did ...

Don't like the center stand (versus a kick stand AND a center stand), and I wish it had just a bit more pep. However, I'm willing to sacrifice some pep for better gas mileage. I plan to add a windshield for it eventually.

Bottom line--I love this scooter and highly recommend it. Don't fool yourself and get a lesser machine. You'll be happy you invested in the Honda because it will save time and angst over the long haul.

  • A dream vehicle
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 25, 2010

    Don't know if it's an Elite 110, but it's a Honda Ruckus.

I bought it used with 6 miles on it.

I live in a small town, where 35 is the top speed, so this is the perfect little vehicle.

It handles like a dream. I'm 5'4" and 118 pounds. It's perfect for me. My husband is 5'7" ...

It is so much fun!!! Great gas mileage, easy to handle!

  • Nice Scooter in all aspects!
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 08, 2010

Great little scooter with good take-off power, nice stoage areas and full functional ingnition and dash. With having fuel injection, water cooled engine and sleak body lines I think it's a good buy especially with rebate on them currently. Tho only concern at all is they could have a side kick stand ...

By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 24, 2010

I bought my Elite 110 just after they came out. It was the first assembled of two received in Santa Cruz. I truly enjoy the ride, mileage and parking convenience. My max out speed is 51mph indicated, after that all goes flat. I am 6' and weigh 200.

I now have just under 1000 miles on it and ...

    with 60 lb rider.

    2 people strains it.

    Lots of storage.

    Easy to handle.

Won't go much faster than 55

    before the R's are pegged.

  • Honda has done it again!
By  (I am an Owner) on Dec 23, 2009

Don't let the 108cc engine fool you? This scoot will reach 55mph, carry a passenger comfortably with no engine strain and has massive storage room. All of this plus 100mpg and a sporty look get you an exciting new addition to the Honda line up. I'm on mine every chance I get and I love it!!!
