Great Bike

I purchased My bike in January 2010 here in Michigan. I had to wait until the weather warmed up to ride it. as for the ride it is very well balanced. I get no less than 55 miles per gallon. I don't know where the rest say 35 to 40 per. I also felt that at 65 mph it seems like the bike is reving a li...ttle high. then I found out that at 76 mph the r's are about 4500 that is not bad. I have had it at 75 and 80 for 30 miles and it seems like the rev didn't bother me as much. now at 70 mph it just seems normal. I have been told that this bike will do over 100. this is just the nature of the bike. I love the ride of this bike and the price makes this an exceptional bargin. Great Bike

The bounce problem may be that you need to adjust the shocks. I weigh in at 170 and the bike NEVER bounces even at 80 mph.

The engine may only be 745cc but plenty of power to cart me around anywhere I want to go. Added some bags and I ride everywhere at any time. Getting around 55 mpg but I DON'...T race it or see just how fast I can get to 60 mph.
Excellent bike and recommend to anyone looking for a first bike (unless you are a bike person). Read Full Review

New Rider

I really enjoy riding this bike. Being a new rider to motorcycles, it's amazing how this bike handles for someone learning for the first time. I will say the bike does feel a little bouncy. I also notice that the shift must happen rapidly in order for you to feel a smooth ride. Therefore, I stop ...treating it like a HARLEY and more on the lines of a honda... HE HE... Just Kiddin... Im shocked that you cant pick this bike up!

Im 46 yo, 5'3 and have no problem picking this bike up (unfortunately I had to drop it to find out I CAN pick it up) Did I mention Im a girl? I chose this bike because Im short and it was the one that fit me best. The Yamaha V-star is a nice enuff bike, but I didnt fit as well in the saddle. I f...ind the Aero quite comfortable. I am installing a Vista Cruise and new Lowers, and relocation arms for my hiway pegs, cuz Im short.
The Honda Shadow is a perfect bike for the one that fits it well. Ummm... me!!

Great bike for the price. I love it!!!

This is only my second bike. While I bought my first bike in 2004, I only started riding it a year ago. It was a sport bike, and while I loved riding it, it was stolen after my first riding season. When I saw the Shadow, i fell inlove with her. I is a very smooth ride with good handling and adeq...uate power. I looks great and I look great on it. What a bargain. Read Full Review
