  • Great Starter Bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 28, 2010

I bought this bike back in January, and I love it. It was a toss up between this -- the smallest cruiser they make (I am very slight framed)-- and a moped, and I'm glad I went with the cruiser option. I have had other bikes before, but was only a casual rider (meaning neighborhood and back yard only). ...

  • 2009 Rebel
By  (I am an Owner) on Jul 16, 2010

I bought my 2009 Honda Rebel in March of 2009. It has been a good bike for me transitioning from dirt to street and not having rode anything since 1997. I use it to get back and forth between home and work and a few other stops during the day as needed for my job. On average I drive about 6-8 miles ...

  • Great (re)entry-level bike!
By  (I am an Owner) on Jan 22, 2010

I've had my Rebel for almost a year now, and I absolutely love riding it. My first two-wheeler was a blue Honda Mini-Trail 50. You couldn't destroy that bike if you tried. Last time I rode was 25 years ago, so I looked at Honda for quality and reliability, and this has bike did not disappoint. ...

I leave the house at 4:30 am, so a loud bike was out of the question. The Rebel is nice and quiet. It shifts effortlessly, and gets me around town (10 miles to work) like a dream.

I added a small windscreen to block some of the cold air off my chest. My next addition will be saddlebags and a backrest. With street speeds of 40-50, I'm getting about 70 mpg, and I weigh 285! I can confidently recommend the Rebel 250 as a reliable city street commuter that's always ready to go. I'll never sell this bike, but if I move up, it will be to a Silverwing.

I bought the Blue 2009 Honda Rebel as my first Bike. Being a new rider and over 50, I wanted a Bike that didn't frighten me with it's big size and high power. The Rebel was perfect. I put 4,000 miles on it in 4 months, riding in all kinds of weather conditions. It's been reliable and fun! I ride ...

  • IN THE WIND
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 09, 2009

After having parked my motorcycle some 35 years ago, I decided to get back into riding.Visions of a Harley-Davidson danced in my head. I enrolled in the CA Motorcycle safety class and it was evident I needed practice. Remember learning to ride on a Honda in the '70s I figured what better way to get ...

I just got the bike in the new blue color two weeks ago and its great! Its my first road bike so im getting used to it on the local surface streets around town. I weigh 229 and the bike moves just fine but you will not beat anyone in a race but a moped. But this bike is designed for MPG and durability. ...
